Sometimes it is reassuring to know that there are professionals who young people can call on to give help and advice.  The Connexions Service can provide access to a whole range of agencies through Personal Advisers available in every school and college, as well as in high street Connexions Centres.

The Personal Adviser can help your son or daughter to make the most of their time and ability.  They will be able to provide help for your son or daughter in making the transition into employment, training or continued study.  Through their close links with the Youth Service they can help young people make more of their leisure time and also assist you and your teenagers when more serious problems arise.

Personal Advisers also work in a range of different ways in the wider community.  They provide independent advice, guidance and support that will best suit your son/daughter.  They work closely with many different agencies providing services to young people.
