Recruiting Young People – Your Guide to our Service
Our Purpose
Connexions Berkshire helps young people to enter the world of work. To do this we need to work with employers like you, because together we can help young people realise their potential.
We provide information, advice and guidance to young people aged 13 to 19, and up to the age of 25 for those who have learning difficulties and disabilities. In the delivery of our service, we have contact with a diverse range of young people, who offer a wide range of skills. Our work with employers is designed to support you in recruiting and retaining a skilled workforce who will add value to your business.

Voluntary Opportunities
Many of the young people we work with are keen to take on voluntary work in their free time, to gain valuable experience and progress their personal development. If you would like to promote your voluntary opportunities with us, free of charge, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Duty of Care
When accepting a vacancy we are required, by contract, to operate a Duty of Care on behalf of our young people. This requires us to establish that employers have Employers Liability Insurance and that minimum health and safety standards are in place.
