For confidential support, information and advice on a wide vareity of issues relating to sexual health there is a lot of support both locally and online.

 

Support at Connexions Centres 

 

Connexions Centres will either provide the following services directly, or refer you to a local access point:

 

  • Free condoms 
  • Male and Female Chlamydia Screening

 

 

Contraceptive and sexual health clinic at Reading Connexions Centre

 

Open every Wednesday 4pm - 6.30pm and every Friday 2pm – 4.30pm

Free and confidential advice on sexual health matters by NHS staff.  The clinic gives you an opportunity to talk to friendly, fully qualified NHS staff about sex, relationships and sexual health in the familiar surroundings of the Reading Connexions Centre.  The clinic offers services including:   

 

  • Emergency contraception for young women 
  • Free contraception (condoms, pills, injections, patches)
  • Counselling on all methods of contraception
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Chlamydia screening
